Guessing Number (v2.1)

It's quite long for people to have this new version of Guessing Number.

For this version, new feature "Voice Input" added, which will let the player have a much easier way to input the numbers.

BTW, there is an accident happened on this game.
I kind of lost my certificate key on this game, which make me regenerate the key as well as republish this game as the new one.
This really takes me a lot of time.

So, ppl, if you are reading this article, please, please, ... , please keep your publish key in a safe place.
Also, don't forget your password for that key. HAHA...

File Management System (1.0)

Download Link.

Android has been proved to be one of the best mobile OS in the world now. That's the reason so many people love to use it daily. However, after install and uninstall hundreds of apps on the Android device, the user could easily find their storage is EATEN by some invisible thing. That's caused by the many invisible files which are left by the uninstalled apps.

Based on this novel idea, I started to work on this project, which will help the Android device user to manage and clean their unnecessary files on their devices.

The app provides many good features:
~Preview Image, Audio, Video;
~Install apk files.
~Search files with specific name.
~Display the location of the file where it is stored.
~Delete the file user specified.
~Delete the file like admin.
~Share the file user specified.

Hope every Android user will enjoy this.

MineSweeper:

MineSweeper, one of the world's most classical game from MS Windows NT, is always my favorite game. I spent a lot of time on this game when I was a child. My best score for 10 mines is 6 second. I don't think there are many other people could do better than me.

For this Android Platform based Application, I tried to make this more flexible, so most of the Android version could enjoy this wonderful game. Also, it has a very clear and fresh design for the player to help them feel less pressure when they are playing the game. Third, this game avoid the chance that the user could bug out the mine at its first move, which is a very common bug for most of the minesweeper game. Also it allows the user to make flag or question mark first, which doesn't matter with the mines' generation.

At last, I hope I could make more upgrades for this application. People could have more fun with this game.

My first Android App --- Guessing Number

Wed Mar 30 01:35:50 CDT 2011
This is the exactly time I published my first Android App. This application took me like 10 hours work from the start.
Here is the link to download my application:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.antonio081014.world&feature=search_result

The game is pretty easy to start.

You need to guess four distinct number ranged from 1 to 9. The system will respond a message, which formatted as: a2b1. This means you have 2 right numbers in the right positions, and also 1 right number in the wrong position.

You could not win the game unless you have all those four numbers right and also located in the right position.

Required:
Android OS: 2.3.

Set up hardware device (Samsung Nexus S) for developping on Ubuntu 10.04+

The most of the steps are from official android develop link.

The time I tried my first Hello World Android application on emulator is Mar 2010, which is totally one year ago, but now I am still wandering around, even my heart beats always show me how I love android, and how deep I believe it's the trend of the future. However, I didn't make any progress, or make any individual application for the last year. There are so many reasons for this embarrassing result, but one of them, the very important one is I can't connect android phone with my Ubuntu system under debugging mode, even I tried a lot of ways.

Today, I finally solved this problem, here are the steps you should follow:

How to connect your Cr-48 to Purdue's Enterprise Network

While enjoying the time with Google's new toy - Cr-48, Chrome OS based test drive notebook, two things stuck me there from having my fun.

1st, Can not connect to the Verizon 3G Network, it never works for me, even now.
2nd, Could not use it around the campus, since Purdue University prefer WPA/WPA2 Enterprise network for the security purpose of campus.

Thus, I spent a lot of time on studying the usage of wpa_cli, but the progress seems not good.

However, there is always a solution for the problem. Here it is:
